Queen Bee Pincushion

This little pincushion is my ode to the Queen bee, who some would say is the slave of the Worker Bees, and some would say is the Ruler of the entire Colony. Either way, she is always, without exception, a remarkable creature, capable of choosing what the hive needs most (Workers or Drones), and laying eggs to fulfill that need.

Using threads from: Classic Colorworks: Blue Corn, Tennessee Red Clay, Honeycomb, Hazelnut
